There are lifelong lessons such as being a good audience member, which is what most of us will be most of the time; learning to speak up, which is necessary when delivering an oral report or a report to a committee; and acting confident, such as in a job interview. Appendix A is "Why Teach Theater" and lists studies and resources on the difference theater can make.
